Marjorie Schneider Biography:
A Legacy of Goodness and Greatness Carried Forward
When people consider the term ‘modern family,’ they often fail to realize the foundation behind it. Most of us today do whatever we feel that we have to in fulfilling our needs, and really only consider the needs of others as far as these align with our own. This is a kind of self-centeredness that has led to many if not most of the ills of the modern world. And the worst part is that we also pass these personality traits on to our offspring, just as surely as our genetic coding, who will then carry on these same tendencies far into the future of human civilization.
I am now researching and writing a series of short articles about a different type of family: a family that has lived not for themselves alone, but that has prioritized improving the lives of others – and not only others in their own family, or even in their own country, but for others from all walks of life and all over the world.
Marjorie Schneider is the wife of renowned visionary Bernard Schneider MD. The child of immigrants to America, Marjorie received her university degree in education and immediately turned her attention to the needs of her countrymen – and especially to the needs of other new immigrants new to the New World, teaching them and their children how to fulfill their potential and develop into upstanding and outstanding citizens of their new land and culture.
Recognizing the arts to be the highest form of cultivating human excellence, Schneider went on during the decades that followed to employ her profound knowledge of human nature by becoming an internationally recognized expert in the arts world, and bringing this into service of her educational and philanthropic endeavors. Now recognized nationally and internationally as a promoter of the fine arts, Marjorie Schneider has used this to further her lifelong mission of helping others to achieve the highest point of creative excellence.
From her earliest years and throughout her adult life, Schneider has thus continuously focused her efforts on service to, and uplifting of, others – and has proven to be a true and trusted guide for all those in need of her help – ceaselessly employing her skills to make positive changes in the lives of others from all nations and backgrounds. In doing so, she has thus fulfilled her own dream of nurturing in future generations the same opportunities for building a better future that she has enjoyed in her own life story – living up not only to the promise of the American dream, but the dream of all mankind.
To help her succeed in this ultimate task, Marjorie has also been blessed with the loyalty of her children, who have unwaveringly carried on and expanded upon her good and great legacy. Marjorie Schneider’s children, Jill Schneider, M.D., Susan Schneider, M.D., Barbara Schneider, Esq., and Kenneth Schneider, Esq., have been endowed by their mother with extraordinarily enlightened minds enabling them to look beyond the outward condition of an individual to his or her true potential as a human being: thus empowering not only the present generation but future generations to achieve their dreams in whatever they do. Passed on in this way, this is truly a legacy that will ripple for innumerable generations to come in ways that none of us can possibly foresee.
For three-quarters of a century, Marjorie Schneider and the Schneider family have thus lent a helping hand to all those in need, together bringing about a self-perpetuating series of success stories across all borders and beyond all boundaries. Throughout this long history of monumental undertakings, Marjorie Schneider has kept foremost in her heart and mind the ambition for people to achieve the best possible lives for themselves in whatever field they dedicate their talents to. It is this eternal legacy of encouraging us all to attain the summit of human potential that is now carried on by her family – including all of us – for eons to come.
